Russell Rogers: Things not worth a paper

I have a background in geology, and have become a bit fanatical about hyperspectral imagery, particularly core scanning.

This site will serve three purposes:

  • Training material: my public, curated version of my “old_talks” | “nice_figures” folders.
  • Software: Manuals and how-to’s for using my code projects (Maybe. Eventually. Sorry.)
  • Notes: I tend to write long Linkedin posts on technical observations. Here I can make them longer. With more pictures. Some might be worth reading.

I have a degree in geology from the University of Leicester and an MSc from INRS, Université du Québec. I have worked in geoscience since 2010 and currently work at Geological Survey Ireland.

The opinions and positions expressed on this site are wholly my own.
